Yeardley Smith, voice of Lisa Simpson, was drawn to microfinance after watching Muhammad on "Oprah" a few months after he and the Grameen Bank won the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize. Since then, she has become a passionate advocate and a strong supporter of Grameen Foundation. She visited with microfinance clients in Haiti just months before the deadly earthquake as well as after, and more recently met with Professor Yunus and borrowers in Bangladesh.
