Recently I saw an interview of yours on the BBC Hard Talk Program. I was extremely touched by what you had to say. Your words have stayed with me and I constantly think about what you said, "We can empower underprivileged women by giving them loans, hence helping to reduce poverty in our respective countries".
I have a prominent hairdressing salon in Mumbai and I take girls from humble beginnings and teach them to be good hairdressers and beauticians. It gives me great pleasure to see them become financially independent. Thus they improve their own lives and the lives of their families. Often their husbands are without jobs and through their earnings they manage their homes alone.
I myself am a great believer in women and in some way would like to uplift the lot of underprivileged women in our countries. They have been suppressed too long and with the right encouragement they can do an immense amount of good to their families and themselves.
