''This visit had a profound impact on me at a very personal level. I have felt increased dedication and motivation in my work as a member of the Grameen family. This motivation and dedication came from seeing the impact Grameen is having on the lives of the women in the villages; it came as I spent time with them in their homes and meetings; and it came as I felt the depth of their character and the strength of their hope. I am beginning to understand the dedication of the bank worker who is privileged to spend every day with these wonderful women.
I have also felt increased personal fulfillment as I have come to see in a real way that my professional life is in harmony with my personal philosophy and religious convictions.
My visit here has given me greater knowledge of the details of the Grameen system and has increased my understanding of the needs of the Bank and the family of organizations. I have also gained a greater conviction of Grameen's effectiveness. These two elements will combine to make me a more effective advocate of Grameen Bank, Grameen Trust and the family as a whole. This will be evident in meetings with the World Bank, USAID, other donors and our partners."
