We would like to wish our readers a very Happy New Year. In this issue we have focused on the replication experience of Grameen's approach to micro-credit and alleviation of poverty. We find that replication is not only feasible, it can very quickly gather momentum, if the initial constraints are over come. Micro-credit Summit's goal is to provide 100 million of the world's poorest families - particularly the women from these households - with access to micro-credit. With replication experience of Grameen Trust and CASHPOR, we think that the goal can be achieved, provided the micro-credit programs, the national and regional wholesalers, the donors and the funding institutions can put their act together.
